We collect information needed to run PrymeStudy, including account details, profile data, role or institution context, device/session details, usage logs, support requests, and security signals.
Student profiles may include name, email, institution, college, department, level, matric number where provided, profile photo, bio, role hints, preferences, and verification state.
We process course, department, institution, class, timetable, enrollment, study progress, weak-area, and academic-calendar data so features can remain scoped to the correct student and institution context.
Uploaded materials can include PDFs, documents, images, metadata, ownership, visibility, processing status, and generated indexing information. We use this to store, preview, process, moderate, and make materials available according to access rules.
AI features may process prompts, chat messages, uploaded question images or files, selected materials, course context, session history, generated outputs, and usage/credit metadata. Public previews receive limited context and do not create full student memory for guests.
Daily Mission and study tools may use answers, scores, progress, weak areas, practice history, credits, and completion signals to personalize study recommendations.
Live class and attendance features may process class schedules, join status, attendance windows, QR/manual check-in events, timestamps, participant records, and lecturer or institution reports.
We may store wallet balances, credit usage, transaction references, payment status, provider metadata, and audit records. PrymeStudy does not store full card details; payment providers handle sensitive payment credentials.
We use cookies, sessions, CSRF tokens, and similar technologies for login, security, preferences, rate limiting, analytics, and app continuity.
We use data to provide the service, personalize learning, enforce permissions, process payments, secure accounts, prevent abuse, improve reliability, support users, and comply with legal or institution requirements.
AI features use only the context needed for the requested learning task, such as selected course, material, timetable, weak area, or session history. We avoid exposing private institution or student data in public previews.
Where appropriate, relevant academic, attendance, course, material, moderation, or performance records may be visible to authorized institutions, lecturers, tutors, or admins according to their role and scope.
We may use trusted service providers for hosting, email, payments, storage, analytics, security, push notifications, AI infrastructure, and support operations. They receive only the data needed to perform those services.
We use role-based access, guarded routes, password hashing, CSRF protection, private internal secrets, logging, and operational safeguards. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we work to reduce risk and respond to incidents.
We keep records for as long as needed to provide the product, meet legal/accounting obligations, resolve disputes, support institutions, prevent abuse, and preserve audit history. Retention periods can vary by data type and feature.
Depending on your location and relationship with an institution, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or export of certain personal data. Some records may need to be retained for security, academic, payment, or legal reasons.
